Group Equipment. This list is intended primarily as a quick reference for our leaders as to which section needs what items of kit, when, and for how long. We're not a commercial tent hire operation and Scouting requirements get priority at all times. We do occasionally lend out our gear in return for a suitable donation ;-), but it's normally only to local people or organisations that we know; you insure it or indemnify us, and it's always on the understanding that it comes back in EXACTLY the same condition as we gave it to you. If you're in any doubt about the correct way to erect and strike tents, particularly our larger items which need a certain amount of expertise, we would want our leaders or Explorer Scouts to do this to avoid expensive damage which would be your responsibility to repair or pay for.......................... :-) We also have quantities of plastic plates and cups, cutlery, gas rings, kitchen equipment, water barrels, etc, etc - details available via Webmaster@Badgerhillscouts.org.uk. You should note that if we lend you anything gas-powered it will be your responsibility to supply your own gas cylinders. Our regulators will fit either Calor or Flo-gas cylinders which are widely available. Numbers in brackets are the total number available Update 7 May 2008.
